Captains D`s Seafood in Milledgeville

What can you say - it's average, it's similar to Long John Silver. it's fast food fish fry, either you like it or you don't. My wife and i were looking for a quick meal and it sufficed. The staff that we dealt with were pleasant.

Exceptional customer service by the cashier Makaela. She was very kind and patient. The food was excellent! Fresh and hot!

The fairly new gumbo is outstanding and the fish remains great. Super, courteous service. Urged me & I paid forward to health provider.

Worker inside did not have gloves on while she was getting ice for drinks. Does lack of gloves contaminate the entire ice bin? I would think so.

Good service and food. However the young woman who came around asking if we needed anything shared her life with us. While she was as sweet as can be I didn't need to here her personal details

I waited in line for a 1/2 tea for over 20 mins ..

Capt D's is a great spot when you need some seafood in your life when you don't feel like cooking. Bought the southern fish tenders with Mac n cheese & broccoli. It also came with 2 hush puppies. Everything was hot & fresh, for about $6.47

My food order was correct and hot. There wasn't a huge wait to order nor to receive my food. Overall the whole restaurant was clean including the restroom. The staff was pleasant.

We had a large order (10 plates) and it was very busy and they handled it beautifully!! All the orders were correct and they did it quickly + they checked all the plates to babe sure everything was correct! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fish is eh. Everything is super fried. If you're into fried food you might like it. Especially if you don't like to taste anything but deep fried batter. Aside from that it was super clean.

the food is delicious the fish pieces I wished they were larger I always get the deluxe seafood platter shrimp crab cakes cole slaw French fries and chicken it is around 10.00 well worth the price and the meal gets you full the staff is always friendly food is fresh and hot very good health scores

I always have a great experience here. The customer service is always good. Even though it's classified as a fast food restaurant it's really not extremely fast but the food is always worth the wait. Even though they don't have to wait on you they do offer to fill your drinks when you dine in and they also offer free hush puppies occasionally

Want a break from burgers....here is your chance. This restaurant serves great seafood and sides on proper plates and silverware. Our mealsWith drinks cost between $6-7 dollars each (with some readily available coupons, and was well prepared without “over breading”, or the greasy taste which is sometimes an issue with seafood. Restaurant has a larger than usual seating area and nicely decorated. Service was fast. Need a Berger break....give this restaurant a try.

We went to the one in Milledgeville. We used the drive thru and I almost drove off cause there were only 2 cars in front of us and we sat there 15 minutes. I'm glad we stayed cause they have a new fish and it is awesome. The food was extremely hot and very good. Try the new fish. I'm gonna overlook the drive thru wait because it was good, better than Macon.

Drive thru is always slow. Spend 15 minutes or more in drive thru & then get to the window & have to pull up & wait. 30 minutes in a drive thru every time I come here.

I'm not sure who worked the window today, but she should be RETRAINED on customer service. Food delivery was prompt. Other than that my niece enjoyed her food. I didn't care to eat from there.

The lady at the window was incredibly rude and impatient. I could barely speak without her talking over me saying "IS THAT ALL? ARE YOU DONE ORDERING?" after every word I said. It wasn't like I was even making a large order, just a meal for myself and my friend, so two meals.

Service was very good and fast, the new gumbo bowl had the smallest shrimp I think I ever seen, was nothing like the picture, but it was good.

Been visiting/dining the Milledgeville location for many years; unfortunately this past Friday 12/19/19 will be the last. Why? The employee taking the orders was rude and hurriedly handed back our change, receipt and order reminder gizmo wanting me to quickly grab all three and move on so she could wait on the next customers. Secondly, they've increased the menu prices and the quality of food is less. So sad that this Milledgeville location has gone in this direction. I'll tell everyone that I know, believe me. You will not survive. Watch.

I love seafood and at Captain D's you can get a sampler dinner consisting of one piece fish, one crab cake, five shrimps, two hush puppies and coleslaw. The meal is very fulfilling. The service is excellent.
